Subfertility is common nowadays. One in six couples is likely to experience difficulties in conceiving a child. The causes of subfertility are many, including environmental and lifestyle factors (i.e. starting a family at an older age). As a woman’s age increases there is higher a risk of subfertility and miscarriage. Other abnormalities such as hormonal problems, uterine abnormalities and poor sperm quality can also affect a couple’s fertility.
The Gynecological Ultrasound Center provides a comprehensive series of examinations for fertility and reproductive problems including: Fertility Assessment (Ovarian Function and Fallopian tube Diagnosis), Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Diagnosis, Follicle & Multiple Ovulation Tracking. We can also induce ovulation with or without stimulation. Unfortunately, we do not provide IVF services but we do provide ultrasound and blood tests to women before or undergoing IVF. We also offer other treatments for fertility problems in cooperation with top fertility specialists.
